Properties of New Transition Metal Chalcogenides and Pnictides.

Abstract

This report presents the results of studies of new transition metal magnetic compounds and includes (1) high pressure phase transformation studies of Pd(1-x)M(x)Se(2) (M=Ru, Co, Ni) and of M(1-x)Rh(x)Se(2) (M=Pd, Pt), (2) preparation and properties of indium antimony selenides, and (3) crystal growth and characterization of the transition metal phosphides CuP2, NiP2, and RhP3.
