The Future of Soviet-Cuban Relations.

Abstract

Soviet-Cuban political and military cooperation may best be viewed as a temporary coincidence of national interests and policy objectives. The convergence of interests is vulnerable to erosion, but there is no end in sight. The best the United States can hope for is to selectively reduce the areas of coincidence between Cuba and the Soviet Union. (Author)
