High-Resolution Atmospheric-Transmission Spectra from 5 to 3 micrometers.

Abstract

This report describes the field-measurement and data-reduction procedures used to obtain longpath, absolute-transmission spectra in the 5- to 3-micrometers atmospheric window. These measurements were carried out under a wide range of meteorological conditions. Key results of these measurements have been assembled into a data base of high-resolution atmospheric-transmission spectra which is now available on digital magnetic tape.
