Display Measurements. Can MTF Analysis Be Used on Matrix Displays.

Abstract

The use of modulation transfer function on matrix displays is investigated in this report. An analytical estimate of the MTF of a hypothetical 1000 X 1000 element liquid crytstal display is given. The report concludes that modulation transfer function (MTF) can be useful in the analysis of matrix displays. (Author)
