Fort Kilovolt Megawatt Average Power Thyratron (MAPS 40). Addendum.
Abstract
The purpose of this 12 month program was to fabricate eight prototype MAPS-40 thyratrons to the design specifications derived during the original phase of this contract and thereby: (1) Assess the reproducibility and operating consistency of the developed tube, and (2) Provide ERADCOM with a number of sample tubes for experimental purposes. Results confirm the satisfactory performance obtained with the early developmental samples. Consistency in electrical performance, indicative of reproducibility was observed. (Author)
