Solar One: The Delaware Solar House and Results Obtained during the First Year of Operation,

Abstract

The design of the Solar conversion system is given. It uses CdS/Cu2S solar cells to convert solar energy into electricity and heat. It operates with a heat pump for auxiliary heating and air conditioning. It uses air as heat transport fluid and salt hydrates for heat storage. Operational parameters are discussed, first results of Solar One experimentation are given. Systems operation and economic aspects are discussed. (Author)
