Investigation of a Preliminary GPS Receiver Design for General Aviation.

Abstract

The preliminary design and analysis of a potentially low cost GPS receiver for general aviation navigation applications is presented. The results indicate that the receiver could meet or exceed 2D area navigation (RNAV) requirements without dependence on external altitude data. (Author)
