Degradation in FLIR Sensitivity Due to Window Absorptance/Emittance.

Abstract

The degradation in the sensitivity of a FLIR as a result of the absorptance and emittance of the infrared window material is considered. An analytical treatment of the problem is presented along with some calculated results for the PAVE TACK system and three possible window materials. (Author)
