IFM Receiver Test and Evaluation.

Abstract

The Instantaneous Frequency Receiver (IFM) is a lightweight, low cost receiver which has potential for use in Electronic Warfare Systems. It is also susceptible to erroneous frequency reporting when presented with simultaneous signals. This report summarizes work done with the IFM receiver to statistically characterize the simultaneous signal problem areas and proposes possible methods of mitigating these problems. (Author)
