Design Study of a Low Profile, High Frequency Antenna System.

Abstract

This paper presents a design study of one method of reducing the physical size of high frequency radio antennas. The particular method utilized is that of the normal mode helical antenna. The results of tests conducted during December 1978 and January/February 1979 are listed and discussed and recommended design improvements are provided. (Author)
