A Force and Moment Test of a 1/24-Scale F-111 Model at Mach Numbers from 0.7 to 1.3.

Abstract

A test program was conducted in the Propulsion Wind Tunnel (16T) to determine forces and moments on a 1/24-scale F-111 model. Data were obtained at Mach numbers from 0.7 to 1.3 at total pressures of 1200 and 2000 psfa. Model angle of attack was varied from -2 to 20 deg at 0-deg sideslip. Sideslip angles were varied from -10 to 10 deg at 10- and 15-deg angles of attack. (Author)
