Development of Techniques for the Design of Athemalized Optical Systems.

Abstract

A theory and practice for athermalizing focus and boresight errors in optical systems is presented. Thermal properties of optical materials, mainly for the visible spectrum, are surveyed. Designs techniques are suggested. (Author)
