MISERS BLUFF. Preliminary Results Report. Volume I. Phase I.

Abstract

This report describes the preliminary results obtained from Phase I of the MISERS BLUFF Field Test Program. Phase I consisted of a series of eight high explosive tests conducted on the White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico in 1977. The primary purpose of these events was to develop a multiple burst ground motion data base. Included in this report are a description of the experimental plan for each test and typical ground motion, airblast and cratering results for each test. (Author)
