Scattering by Buried Finite Cylindrical Dielectric Land Mines.
Abstract
The unimoment method is applied to solve the electromagnetic scattering by a buried dielectric finite cylinder simulating a land mine. The computational results are reported at 700 MHz, 800 MHz, 900 MHz, and 1000 MHz. The fields are presented in graphical form including parametric studies. The results will greatly enhance the ability of engineers in designing and improving effective land mine detection systems. (Author)
