Measurement of Electron Attachment and Mobility in Dry and Wet Air.

Abstract

The experiments described in this report measured electron attachment and mobility in air as a function of electric field and water vapor partial pressure. The relevant rates were inferred from measurements of the current across a parallel plate ionization chamber to a short pulse of ionizing radiation. (Author)
