The Use of Cutting Scores in Selection Procedures.

Abstract

A procedure is given for screening product or individuals for acceptance based on a bivariate normal model. The procedure outlined assumes that all parameters are unknown and must be estimated from a preliminary sample. A survey of the literature on screening procedures is included. (Author)
