Sea Trials of the Damped Vibration Absorber Fitted to HMAS Brunei.

Abstract

A damped vibration absorber, similar to that previously installed in HMAS Balikpapan, has been fitted to HMAS Brunei. A series of tests, conducted on the latter ship, to determine the characteristics of the absorber and to provide an initial tuning guide, is described. (Author)
