Temperature Dependence of Vibrational Relaxation in Gas Phase Water and Ammonia.

Abstract

Vibrational relaxation measurements are reported on H2(18)O and from 250 K to 400 K for pure water and for mixtures with He and Ar. The results of vibrational relaxation measurements of NH3 in mixtures of He, Ar, N2, and O2 are reported for the temperature range 198 K to 398 K.
