Ten Point Six Micron Laser Target Designator.

Abstract

A research version of a 10.6 micron laser designator was constructed. The device weighs 26 lbs without power supply. Output energy of 100 mJ in 30 nsec pulses at 2 - 20 pulses per second with a 1.5 percent overall efficiency were achieved. (Author)
