A Computer-Aided Decision Structuring Process.

Abstract

A computer-assisted, step-by-step procedure is being developed for establishing the basic structure of a decision problem. Initial steps elicit a preliminary decision structure, subsequent steps are designed to identify and expand the analysis of those areas to which the decision is most sensitive. The output of the process is a quantitative decision model. An interactive computer program with graphics for implementing the procedure is partially completed and will be evaluated using typical warfare scenarios. (Author)
