On Software Reliability Modeling.

Abstract

In this report, the concept of software reliability is discussed. Various software reliability models along with the basic philosophy of their development, their characteristics, and derived figures of merit are examined. These model's strengths and weaknesses are evaluated. Attempts for validating these models are discussed. (Author)
