Laser Deflection Analysis.

Abstract

The objective of this program was to provide mathematical analysis for the use of laser beam deflection in various potential applications. The analysis considered the effects of beam divergence, pointing accuracy, and signal-to-background noise. The analysis was supported by experimental measurements of relevant factors involved in the laser deflection process. (Author)
