Budget Allocation and Enlistment Prediction Models for the Navy's Recruiting Command: The Proper Balance between Recruiter and Advertising Efforts.

Abstract

The report summarizes model building and validation efforts directed towards predicting and optimizing of Navy's advertising and recruiter efforts. Both contract prediction results are shown as well as budget execution/budget generation models and results. The models were exercised using CY77 data and the model's results compared with actual allocations. (Author)
