Aero-Servo-Elastic Stability Analysis

Abstract

A general matrix formulation of the aero-servo-elastic stability problem is presented based on the British method of flutter analysis. The analysis applies to the closed-loop system, and the digital computer program (MPASES) developed to perform the analysis is described. An application is made to a typical air-to-air missile with three feedback loops.
