Studies of Atmospheric Infrared Emissions.

Abstract

This contract between the Air Force Geophysics Laboratory and Utah State University provided for the investigation into the nature of the disturbed and undisturbed atmosphere with particular emphasis placed upon the spectral, spatial, and temporal behavior of atmospheric emission and the controlling stimuli that initiate such emission. A major thrust was concentrated on the development of new instrumentation and measuring techniques and their use in the measurement program, particularly in atmospheric disturbances. (Author)
