Physical Oceanography Program.

Abstract

This report presents a summary of work sponsored by the Physical Oceanography Program (Code 481)Office of Naval Research, Ocean Science and Technology Detachment, covering the FY 79 period. It includes a brief description of (1) the status of research for each of eleven different areas of physical oceanography, (2) each of the four multi-investigator, multi-institutional, and multidisciplinary projects which ONR 481 jointly sponsors, (3) each of the 79 individual projects which ONR 481 sponsors, and (4) all referred journal articles appearing during FY 1979.
