The Frequency Response of a Particular Gimbal System to Coherent Rotation and Acceleration Excitation

Abstract

The general theoretical expression for the frequency response of a gimbal system to a joint rotation/acceleration driving force is derived. Theoretical estimates of physical system parameters are made for particular gimbal system. Experimental verification of these theories is obtained by measurements of the rotationally excited response of the gimbal system.
