Observation, Inference, and Cognitive Structure.

Abstract

The purposes of this paper are: (1) to provide a brief conceptualization of 'cognitive structure'; (2) to examine the theoretical relationships between cognitive structure, on the one hand, and observational and inferential behavior on the other; and (3) to review some of the relevant empirical findings pertaining to the theoretical relationships.
