Abstract

The objectives of this program were to identify applicable high strength materials and efficient structural concepts for application to various elements of the helicopter external gondola system (HEGS) and to subsequently prepare preliminary design arrangements for the HEGS-10, HEGS-20, and HEGS-Palletized modules.(Author)
