Gamma Energy Spectra for the RADC/ES Cobalt 60 Source.

Abstract

A monte carlo photon transport code has been used to calculate the photon energy distributions produced by several in-use intense C060 sources at RADC/ES (formerly at AFCRL). In addition, the energy-angle spectra has been determined for photons exiting collimators used with these sources. These spectra may be helpful in understanding the responses of devices and materials irradiated by the source photons. (Author)
