A Computerized VSTOL/Small Platform Landing Dynamics Investigation Model.

Abstract

A digital computer program has been developed to investigate the dynamic interaction between VSTOL aircraft and ships. The model includes the ship, aircraft, pilot, and air turbulence. At present the aircraft model is configured to represent the AV8A Harrier, but other aircraft may be simulated by simple program changes. (Author)
