A Luminescence Survey of Hazardous Materials,

Abstract

Room temperature luminescence (fluorescence) spectra of ninety-six toxic and hazardous materials corrected for instrument response and light output are presented. Eight additional spectra of non-fluorescent toxic and hazardous materials are also included. A brief literature review, estimated detection limits and a spectral code for preliminary identification of these materials are also provided. (Author)
