Nuclear Protection for the Soldier

Abstract

The vulnerability of the soldier to the effects of ionizing radiation is well established. The potential threat against the US military forces was reviewed and a variety of means of providing protection against the effects of nuclear radiation on the battlefield were analyzed. The findings, conclusions and recommendations of the Ad Hoc Group are presented for consideration and possible implementation in the future.
