Standard Calibration of Velocimeters,

Abstract

This note is to outline the procedure involved in producing stabilized baths for velocimeter standard calibration. The basic problem is to bathe the transducers of the velocimeter in an isothermal body of distilled water at various temperatures. This may be done by a series of heat exchanges which will tend to damp out temperature fluctuations. A single hot plate will supply the heat needed to reach the various temperatures desired.
