Evaluation of the E-Field Sensor, Model EFS-1 (Instruments for Industry, Inc.)

Abstract

The response of two Model EFS-1 field-strength meters was measured when exposed to 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50 MHz fields. This electric field sensor is advertised as responding directly from 10 kHz to 200 MHz. Tests were completed for continuous wave and pulsed square wave exposure conditions. These test results indicate that the EFS-1 would be a useful radiofrequency radiation field sensor.
