Abstract

The purpose of this publication is to inform members of the military community involved with providing subsistence to US troops about foreign food-related activities of military significance. This issue features a condensation of a report prepared by FSTC in response to a stated requirement by the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army (Reasearch and Development) for a survey and assessment of foreign interest in the preservation of food by ionizing radiation.
