Tactical Air Command and Control Career Ladder, AFSC 275X0.

Abstract

The data used in the compilation of this report were collected through the administration of job inventory booklets to all DAFSC 275XO personnel Air Force-wide. The survey results were based on responses from 380 of the 545 275X0 personnel assigned worldwide, or 70 percent of the total worldwide career ladder population. Overall, the career ladder structure was very homogeneous. All three major job clusters identified, Junior Tactical Air Command and Controllers (TACCs), TACCs, and TACC NCOICs, performed a common core of technical tasks. The two independent job types identified, TACC Superintendents and Set Up Technicians, differed from the major clusters in that they performed more specialized or unique jobs.
