Millimeter Radar Sea Return Study.
Abstract
A site selection process was performed for a planned field exercise to measure radar sea clutter reflectivity at low grazing angles using several radar frequencies between 9.5 and 95 GHz. A detailed test plan was developed to collect calibrated radar cross section data over a variety of geometric and environmental conditions. The data collection and calibration processes have been described using radar systems and ancillary electronic equipment. (Author)
