A Survey of Currently Important Empirical Thermospheric Models.

Abstract

A description of currently important empiriccal thermospheric models is given, and the relative advantages of each are discussed. In addition, a comprehensive set of contour plots of total density is presented to allow more detailed examination of quantitative aspects of the models. (Author)
