Transient Response of a Gun System under Repeated Firing,

Abstract

This report develops an analysis of the transient response of a gun barrel to repeated firing. A finite element approach is used. Initial linear and angular displacements and velocities may be prescribed. A digital computer program based upon the analysis has been developed. The position, velocity, and acceleration of node points are outputs. A plot option is available. (Author)
