Basic Concepts of Statistics and Their Applications in Composite Materials.

Abstract

This report is intended to present, in a simple and concise way, basic concepts of statistics and their applications in composite material engineering. The subjects are selected from the standpoint of key concepts and applications rather than theory and elegance. It is envisioned that this report is suitable for a short course (or refresher course) for composite material engineers, who have been working with data but have not done any formal course work in statistics.
