Phase Change/Heat Storage Materials Data Compilation.
Abstract
A survey of available phase change heat storage materials for space temperature control applications. A list of thirty one, low-to-medium temperature (100 to 800 F) phase change storage materials are recommended as prime candidates for limiting component temperature excursions during a laser threat. Appendices are provided that include a data compilation of over 200 phase change heat storage materials, a list of data references, a phase change material bibliography and more descriptive information on the prime heat storage material candidates.
