Wavenumber Spectral Measurement of Turbulent Boundary Layer Wall Pressure by Maximum Likelihood Methods.

Abstract

A combined procedure based on conventional and maximum likelihood spectral estimation techniques is proposed for the measurement of turbulent boundary layer pressure fluctuation wavenumber spectrum. It is shown that the mixed procedure is more tolerant to sensor inaccuracies in amplitude, phase or phase center alignment. (Author)
