Evaluation of Teleprompter Group Communications Equipment in Army Instruction.

Abstract

This study is a report of the preliminary results of the use of group communication equipment in technical instruction at the US Army Ordnance Guided Missile School. Three studies of the use of this equipment in technical instruction were planned. These studies were primarily designed to determine the following: to evaluate student learning when the subject matter is presented with teleprompter equipment; to evaluate the amount of student retention when subject matter is presented with teleprompter equipment; to evaluate techniques of reducing training time for lectures, conferences and demonstration type classroom presentation.
