Some Models for Windspeed.

Abstract

Models are given for the probability of a windspeed greater than an arbitrary value, for each of 25 stations. The two parameter Weibull model is used. Separate sets of parameters are given for each station for each month and for each of the eight 3-hour periods of the day. Measures of 'goodness' of the models are given. (Author)
