COMMUTE - A Computer Code for Noncommutative Algebra.

Abstract

A computer code has been developed that operates on angular momentum and direction cosine operator products to form a reduced set of lower degree. The program has been used extensively in obtaining the eigenvalues and eigenvectors of the Hamiltonian describing the vibration-rotation levels of triatomic asymmetric rotor molecules. Examples of the use of the program as well as a listing are documented. (Author)
