Abstract

This symposium on wear and corrosion included specialized session which addressed corrosion from the viewpoints of economics, research direction, regulation, and standardization, as well as the technical viewpoints of coatings, inhibitors cathodic and anodic protection, and the selection of materials for design. The wear session includes papers on automotive problems, gas path seals, energy development, and material processing.
