Conditionally Distribution-Free Test for Censored Bivariate Observations.

Abstract

A conditionally distribution-free test is proposed for testing the symmetry of a bivariate distribution function with observations which are subject to arbitrary right censorship. In a numerical study, this new test is shown to be more powerful than the sign test under Marshall and Olkin's bivariate exponential model. (Author)
