Computerized Models for Design and Analysis of Computer-Communications Systems.

Abstract

This paper presents a comparison of several models that may be employed for the design and analysis of computer-communications networks. The comparison focuses on the algorithms used for the various facets of network design-routing algorithms, network reliability models, etc. Two models of particular interest have been singled out - one is in the area of protocol design, and the other is an overall network design program.
