Operational Lanchester-Type Model of Small Unit Land Combat.

Abstract

This thesis describes an operational Lanchester-type model of small-unit land combat. It is a time sequenced, deterministic, battalion-level, force-on-force model implemented on a digital computer. In comparison with other existing battalion level analytic models, this model contains some new modelling ideas about detection and fire allocation policies. (Author)
